MY BRAIN HAS A MIND OF ITS OWN is a group of sculptures, my first attempts at making visible and tangible what is going on in my head.
The title comes from the realization that I am unable to control my attempts to capture and make visible the raw ideas and images that flit obsessively through my head. It is the very rawness of these first impressions that interest me. In this new work, I am trying to allow the ideas and forms to materialize without too much thinking or artistic editing.
